World Rookie Tour and Swatch Nines join forces

The Next Generation of Nines: 17-22 April 2023 – Schilthorn, Switzerland 

From its beginnings, World Rookie Tour has collaborated with the most prestigious events to help young riders to make their dream come true and enter the world of the professional ski and snowboard community.

Today, the Black Yeti is proud and excited to announce that the new Swatch Nines, one of the most famous non-competitive media events in the world, confirms its partnership with the World Rookie Tour!

All WRT slopestyle Champions 2023, in snowboarding and freeskiing, male and female, will be invited to this unique event for the full 6 days! World Rookie Snowboard Finals will be back once again in Kitzsteinhorn Kaprun/Zell am See in Austria from the 20th to the 26th of March 2023 and World Rookie Freeski Finals in Madonna di Campiglio in Italy, from the 26th to the 30th of March 2023.

With a new name and location but the same philosophy of action sports evolution, Swatch Nines presented by Falken will make its debut from the 17th to the 22nd of April, 2023, at Schilthorn, Switzerland, concluding with a public demonstration day on Saturday, the 22nd of April,” said Nico Zacek, founder of Swatch Nines.
