Pamporovo Funpark welcomed some of the best rookies and groms from Bulgaria, Serbia, Switzerland, France, Slovenia, Romania and Czeck Republik competing for tickets to the 2015 Völkl World Rookie Finals in Ischgl, Austria.
Under an heavy snow storm the riders showed great skills and style battling the slopestyle in such hard weather conditions. Unlucky after the slopestyle competition strong south wind arrive, which quickly turned the snow into rain and forced to cancel the halfpipe race.
1st in the Rookies category was Simeon Mitrev from Boroboard – Samokov team, one of the best Bulgarian riders. Simeon won with a very clean and stylish run which impress the judges and deservedly won the highest score of 86.3 points, second place was awarded to Jan Rovensy (CZE) followed by Liam Tourky (FRA).
In the Groms category 1st place was for the Slovenian rider Naj Mekinc, followed by Kamen Petrov from Pamporovo TRS team and one of the best Switzerland riders – Florian Fisher.
Best Rookie girl in Pamporovo Rookie Fest became Betina Kichukova (BUL) followed by Mihaela Varoshkina (BUL) and Angelina Milutinovich (SRB).
In the Grom girls category was only one participant – the Slovenian girl rider Eva Kralj. She shows very good skills and took the 1st place in overall girls with result of 50.0 points.
