What went down
January 21-24, 2016 => The ArcroBag Team decided to put on an event which acts as a stepping stone to professional SnowBoardom:
· A cannon box and a jump were built into the course and mimicked into the AcroBag so you could really learn new tricks safely.
· The judging system was based on the biggest competitions asking the riders to choose between Technical & Creative runs.
· The course was progressive and allowed for riders to demonstrate rider creativity.
With 20 riders from 4 countries, the first edition of the Peyragudes World Rookie Tour was a staggering success with an impressive snowpark, good vibes, pro training opportunies, generous rewards and fun side activities. In this email you can read the report, check the rankings, watch pictures and the video!

Emotional intelligence seminar with Marc-André Tarte and Joel Gaillard on how to rise above the pressure of your next biggest snowboard competition. We discussed how to mentally prepare yourself to make it in the competitive snowboard world.
After a demanding riding day, we offered the best to our guests => A relaxing thermal spa evening @“BALNÉA” with all sorts of different water therapy options (underwater music, inside/outside pools, roll in the snow and walk around different pools with all temperatures as well as fun water jets/water falls, etc…)
Its time to ride like the pros from Air&Style, freestyle.ch, X Games, etc…. Riders needed to put down one technical run and one style run. The style run was limited to tricks under 540 rotations.
AXA Insurance offered prize money for the competitors – Thank You AXA!
AcroBag put on a progression session “Cash for tricks” where you walked away with money after taking your new AB tricks to the snow!!!
All participants received goodies from Völkl Snowboards, Loubsol optics, and SP Gadgets.
All nations under one roof eating together, enjoying each other’s company as well the photoshoots and award ceremonies.
Peyragudes, AcroBag World, RedBull France, all our partners, event volunteers, shredders and coaches.

ABOUT THE WORLD SNOWBOARD FEDERATION
The World Snowboard Federation (WSF) is the international organization exclusively working to develop the sport of snowboarding at all levels. Program areas include: competitions, Para-Snowboard, judge and shapers, education and certification, and snowboard activities for riders of every age. The WSF represents a network of National Snowboard Associations (NSAs) who work together at a worldwide level to promote the development of snowboarding. NSA members can find a source of inspiration and support from the WSF for the activities they are conducting within their nation and by working towards the same goal: progression of snowboarding from the ground up. The WSF collaborates with the TTR Pro Snowboarding, the owner and operator of the TTR World Snowboard Tour and the TTR World Ranking System. Through this collaboration and coordination of events at the TTR World Snowboard Tour, The WSF and the TTR want to create an environment that fosters the development of competitive snowboarding. In February 2012, the WSF and the TTR hosted the inaugural World Snowboarding Championships in Oslo, Norway, an elite level event to be held every four years in alternating cities around the world. About TTR Pro Snowboarding & World Snowboard Tour
TTR Pro Snowboarding is a non-profit organization that oversees a professional network of events and athletes. Our objective is to develop and showcase the sport of snowboarding through the World Snowboard Tour, while facilitating a fair and open competition environment that includes innovative judging and ranking systems. We encourage riders to develop from rookies into world-class athletes through a 6 Star level rating system; which will be replaced by a new 4-tiered structure from October 2014. Under the new World Snowboard Tour 2.0, the 4-tiered structure will encompass Elite, International, National, and Regional event levels. Elite events will comprise the WST Pro Series (current working title). The Regional, National, and International levels of the WST 2.0 will make up the WST Qualifying Series (working title).
