COMPETITION FORMAT
The competitions take place on the big / main side of the Myyrmäki skatepark street. There are no prohibited obstacles, but we recommend leaving Bowl skating for the PARK competitions 😉
All competitors have 2 x 1-minute runs, of which the score of the better run counts.
From the men’s open semis, the top 10 go to the finals.
Judging is based on the skater’s performance compared to the performance of other competitors, not previous performances or abilities. The judging takes into account the degree of difficulty, versatility of the tricks and the use of the track, as well as the quality and cleanliness of the execution. Speed, height and the difficulty of the obstacles are also taken into account.
REGISTERATION (for non Finnish competitors):
– Please mail us in advance and we guide you trough the process: info@rullalauta.fi
ARRIVING:
Myyrmäki skatepark address:
Raappavuorentie 8-10, 01600 Vantaa
We recommend arriving by public transport, as there are a few other events in the area on the same day, so the nearest parking lots may fill up quickly.
The park can be easily reached from Helsinki center by local trains I and P. The train station is within walking distance of the skate park.
Within walking distance there are various shops and places to eat (Myyrmanni shopping center)
We recommend that you take care of the training in advance before the official competition day, because there is only approx. 30-60 minutes of warm-up time reserved for each series.
In case of unstable weather, the competitions will be postponed to Sunday 31.7. and if both competition days seem too unstable, the event will be moved to the Kera Terminal 360 hall, Espoo. We will inform you about the changes on our IG (@suomenrullalautaliitto) and FACEBOOK (facebook.com/SuomenRullalautaliitto) page.
