Obereggen Italian Rookie Finals 2015

Obereggen hosted the last stop of the 2015 Rookie Tour Italy, the most important tour for the italian snowboarders under 18. After Cervinia, Livigno and Monte Bondone, the Italian Rookie Finals crowned the Rookie Champions and the Grom Champions.

Every Champions, won the tickets for the prestigious Volkl World Rookie Finals 2015 that will take place in Ischgl, Austria!

Nitro Kids Jam 2014 – Cervinia, Italy

The Rookie Tour Italy will take place also this year with 5 events reserved for snowboard riders under 18. The tour will begin next Sunday 21st December 2014, with the Nitro Kids Jam that will take place at the Indian Park in Cervinia. The Nitro Kids Jam, as well as all the other contests of the Rookie Tour Italy, will give out points for the World Rookie Ranking and will define the name of the italian riders for the Volkl World Rookie Finals 2015 that will happen in Ischgl, Austria, from the 7th to the 12th April 2015.

The registration will be done the same day of the event inside the snowpark. To take part, everybody has to come with the coach or a parent, a valid ID and the FIS card.

Sunday 21 December – Contest Day
09.00 – 10.00 am registration inside the snowpark
10.00 – 11.30 am training
12.00 am – 1.00 pm race
1.15 – 1.45 pm snacks offered from the organization
2.00 pm price giving

Age groups
WSF rookie events are reserved to Rookies (born from 1st of January 1997 to 31st of December 1999) and Grom (born from 1st of January 2000 and up), both boys and girls and kids (born after 2003). All contests of the World Rookie Tour will generate valuable results for the TTR World Snowboard Tour Ranks and for the World Rookie Rank developed by World Snowboard Federation.

Rookie Tour Italy 2014.15

The countdown for the Rookie Tour Italy 2014.15 has started and this year the only tour for snowboarders under 18 will come back with 5 stops in the best Italian winter resorts.

The Rookie Tour Italy 2014.15 will be characterised by 4 slopestyle events and 1 halfpipe event with the special event of the DC Trentino Kids Camp in Monte Bondone, a 2 days snowboard camp for everybody, under 16, that wants to try the snowboard or improve his or her style.

During the past 10 years, the Rookie Tour Italy will offer the possibility to the italian riders to challenge themselves and the others in the perfect conditions of these rookie events. Moreover two stops of the Rookie Tour Italy, the ones in Livigno and in Monte Bondone, are part of the World Rookie Tour, the international tour reserved for the future stars of snowboarding.

A lot of awards are ready to be given out at each stop: surf camp in Santander provided by Surf To Live, clothing equipment and snowboard apparel offered from the sponsors and tickets for the prestigious final stop of the World Rookie Tour that will take place in Ischgl, Austria.
