Get ready: the Moldavian Rookie Fest 2025 is officially on! From August 1–3, the Skatepark Valea Trandafirilor in Chișinău will host the second edition of the only official skateboarding contest in Moldova, once again part of the World Rookie Tour – the global series that helps shape the future stars of skateboarding.
After the smashing success of 2023, the Moldavian Rookie Fest 2025 is back and it’s bigger, louder, and more epic than ever!
International vibes & Next-Gen talent
With international riders already confirmed, the level of competition will be 🔥. Expect style, creativity, and progression from all categories: Groms, Rookies, Boys, and Girls. An official judging panel from the World Rookie Tour will evaluate every trick.
🏆 The Top 3 in each category will qualify directly for the WRT Finals in Velenje, Slovenia (September 2025).
🎟️ The Best Boy Overall and Best Girl Overall will receive an all-inclusive golden ticket to the Finals.
Entry Fees? Not for Moldovan Riders!
To support local talent, Moldovan riders enter for free. International participants are welcome, with a symbolic entry fee of just €20.
Moldavian Rookie Fest 2025 Schedule
Friday, August 1
Rider arrival, welcome dinner, and warm-up sessions at the skatepark.
Saturday, August 2
Official training, qualifications and finals, followed by the award ceremony and a skatepark DJ party.
Sunday, August 3
Chill breakfast and street session with a filming tour across Chișinău’s iconic skate spots. Vibes, tricks, and media coverage guaranteed.
Organised in collaboration with the Moldavian Roller Sports Federation, and supported by Blue Tomato, TSG, Red Bull Moldova, and Mort Skateboards, this event is an unmissable stop on the 2025 tour.
